From rail to email

I'm positive I've mentioned the strange attraction I previously seemed to wield for freaks on public transport (this was mainly rail, but, as it turned out, also included bus and ferry and plane. As well as the 50m radius around train stations, bus stops, ferry docks and airports. And I translate overseas as well).

Since I've stopped commuting by public transport, now that I live but 15 minutes walk from work, I have instead begun to attract really strange emails from people I don't expect strange emails from.

I've previously blogged about my email exchange with the editor of Engineering World and also spent a post on a confluence of weird email topics (par 6 & 7) that seemed to greet me one Friday.

Anyway, this is what I received today from my TAFE tutor, after I sent him an email with the first part of my assignment (due next week) asking if I were on the right track:

"the prose is eloquent and the timbre melodious and yes it's track is as straight & intense as a light ray from a star in nova. I am battling with some ubiquitous bug in my upper respiratory tract, but will endeavour to be in on Tue night to discuss the AE in detail. Ciao"
