Four sleeps 'til Waverton. Managed to pack five large boxes and a few smaller ones last night. I can now see the floor of my room. I also started peeling off some of my posters, which was actually rather heartbreaking as I won't be able to put them up at my new place (there are picture hooks but no adhesive is allowed). Tonight I'm doing my clothes and the rest of my books.
Had a rather meandering day today, still doing chemistry cram guides and quizzes. Gets tedious after a while. The novelty of "finishing a unit" has worn off as the tasks linger on. Didn't help that Colin was a bit of an effort this evening. Perhaps we've run out of things to say. I've noticed that he never looks me or anyone in the eye while he's talking, which is quite off-putting.
Tomorrow we are starting lunchtime soccer - red apples and green apples. I'm on the red apple team because I don't have anything green to wear. My teammates are Ben, Clint and Greg from multimedia and Gill, Ian and Kev from secondary. James is our sub. I've not met Greg before but I'm cool with the others. Unfortunately we're lining up against a formidable team of Koush and Mark from multimedia, Nick, Paul and Penny from management, and Melissa and Naomi, my own Cider Housemates from secondary. Their sub is Sudeep, the new web guy.
Roland withdrew interest out of fear and apparently there will be a bunch of cheerleaders from primary there to help us along (as we are distinct underdogs). I have to go depilate my legs now, since I will be wearing shorts. Let's go!
