Had a decent week despite lots of small things trying to trip me up (Microsoft Word inexplicably not working on my work profile, anyone?).
Had #prjournolove at The Argyle on Tuesday. Quiet one (because it was a Tuesday, I suspect) but still managed to meet a few new people. Had two glasses of mulled wine and felt cosy all night.
Most interesting thing that happen was going to Katoomba over the weekend to do not very much. There was a cursory visit to the Three Sisters and Bygone Beautys (teapot emporium) in Leura, but other than that it was really about lots of eating and drinking for Jen's birthday. Although, way too much bitching about Fiona, a salesgirl at work. C'mon people, get over it! She's lazy and overpaid but there's really not much point in talking about it all the time.
On Sunday morning we went to The Paragon for breakfast. It was a place a friend of mine recommended some time ago. Unfortunately, as you can read from the reviews, the food, service and value has just plummeted. If you are ever in Katoomba, go to Blue Hour instead. Jules, Wickham and I went there on Saturday for coffee.
Today was the Home & Giving Fair, which meant traipsing and talking all day on behalf of a client. Tomorrow will be the same.
Sam came over today and picked up the keys. He's moving in throughout the week.
That's about all.
I don't think I mentioned we now have a new Prime Minister. I'm not even going to mention the fact that she's female, unmarried, and an atheist.
