Okay, I've finished my article. Am now uploading news to be released in the morning while I am at a conference. But will blog here anyway.

My week was crammed with work, but my weekend was crammed with world music, gorgeous xylophonists and Finnish a cappella, thanks to the Canberra International Music Festival so I suppose that makes up for at least some of the hard yards.
It was nice to go cruising with Ass, who has received her driver's licence back after copping a speeding suspension, and to hang out with my sister and Anton with good food, wine and dessert.
On Sunday I went to the Bus Depot Markets with Ass and met up with MiB, who I haven't seen in a couple of years. Bought a few homely things like a peg bag and pegs, creamed honey, fudge.
Then went to As Nature Intended for lunch with Twong, Ky and MiB (and Ass), friends from high school who have since relocated to the capital. Drank a bowl of chilli hot chocolate (below).
Okay, it's almost 3am and I'm really tired but I should be able to give you a solid update of stuff happening soon on next week's post. Have The Armada gig, my speech at the export awards, SWF volunteering, DC's farewell party and SWF sessions to look forward to.
