From the top

Busy busy busy. Very tight deadlines this week (two!) but I hope it will be all over by Friday. (Not all over, just the busy-ness).

I feel like asking Father Time for a reprieve of this year because I haven't been able to look up and see what's going on apart from the bits I'm involved in. 2009 again, from the top, please pa?

Oh yeah, did lots of property inspections on Saturday, which has resulted in lots of frickin' real estate agents calling me during work hours. I actually turned my phone off today and subsequently missed a call from my mortgage broker saying my conditional approval is ready.

Which is just as well because I made an offer on a townhouse in Artarmon (sort of accidentally - I mean, the interest to buy was genuine but I didn't think things would move this quickly). Am on the cusp of paying a holding deposit.

It's pretty scary, actually. I've never been in 'debt' more than a couple of thousand dollars and even then only for a month or so on my credit card. Rightfully I should be excited, but I just don't have the energy considering the current situation, which is me looking at all the work in front of me and forgetting who I am.

All I want is for everyone to leave me alone for one week. Go!

P.S: Leonard Cohen is playing a second show at the Entertainment Centre and I just shelled out $200 for a much better seat. Thus far have spent $340 on the bard, so he better be worth it!
