This sounds really stupid, so I thought I'd better blog about it.
I've just been looking up transport options for my forthcoming trip to Brisbane (again) later this week. I'm going to the freelance drinks on Friday night, which are being held at the Brisbane Powerhouse, inconveniently located nowhere near anywhere I explored on my last trip.
Anyway, so I'm going to get a bus there and I've just discovered an Adeline Lane off Merthyr Street. Who calls a street Merthyr anyways..?
Speaking of which, North Sydney Council is updating all the street signs in the municipality and they've given them to the community centre to sell off and raise some money. The popular ones will go to auction in April but apparently you can pre-purchase others for $50. I'm going to try and get 'Croquet Club' but failing that I'll try for 'Doohat Ave'. Why Doohat? Well, whenever I walk past it I find it funny and I can always do with a good laugh.
