- I need new lenses for my glasses because my eyesight has gotten worse. Cost = $365 (after healthcare benefit)
- I got a haircut and it looks great... except now all my white hairs are clearly visible on my fringe.
- I took half a day off to interview a medical director from Pfizer for my health story. His media rep rang me at the appointed time and told me that he didn't want to do the interview. I wasted half a day of holiday leave for nothing!
- This means I might not be able to write the story over the long weekend as I planned, which means it will still interfere with the rest of April.
- I wrote a unit on the film Pleasantville in which sex is one of the major turning points. My coordinator got into a huff about it. I didn't write and direct the film, don't look at me.
- Lack of time, lack of time, lack of time. And yet I came back this evening and couldn't bring myself to do anything on my 'to do' list. Where does this apathy come from?
- Ate way too much sugar today. Jackfruit chips, gummi fruit and easter chocolate.
Sigh.
