I'm out of my blue period now and back doing lots of stuff.
I've progressed on my health article (on the side effects of commonly prescribed medication). I have an interview with a 'victim' tomorrow arvo; she wrote a book on her experience as a psyche patient when actually she was suffering from the side effects of Zoloft. I should have another couple of interviews lined up by the end of the week (a medical professional and a pharmaceutical rep).
With Fanbase, we had another meeting on Friday and things are clearer and motoring along without much interference from me - just as long as Vanessa doesn't have a breakdown as she juggles the website and moving house.
And I've decided to go for the Reader's Digest job, even though there is a chance that they will think me overqualified. I hate that. Problem is, I need to find two new referees because two of the three of mine have fallen off the face of the planet (or have been relocated in any case).
That's about it.
All right, well I went swimming on Saturday night instead of going out. I felt pretty good - I went hard for about 800m of the 2km. Then after I'd gotten out and changed, I fell off one of the concrete ledges. You know, I think it is the change from water the air that confuses my body, not to mention that I put my glasses on after viewing things myopically for an hour. I contemplated getting a bag of chips and instead went home and cooked tomato rice with vegies. Good girl.
Today, Sir and I saw the Tezuka exhibition at the Art Gallery NSW, which I thought was tops. 'Twas a pity that most of the merch in the gift shop was Astro Boy or Kimba-related because I was keen to buy an anthology with the other manga as well. Also, they showed 'My Neighbour Totoro' for free in the theatre, which was cool and funny.
Palimpsest, my writer's project, has begun as of last week. It officially starts when I see my writers group on Wednesday but all the participants at work have been told they can start scribbling. Somehow I will find the time...

Ah, Totoro. One of my favourite movies. I actually bought it on DVD last wednesday. And while I was doing that, I noticed that "Kiki's Delivery Service" is coming to the theaters over here.
